Great new design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im giving these 5 stars because these mechanical pencils have changed so much for the better. The old ones where ok But the new sleek designs of these pencils are fabulous they feel better in your hand while writing for long periods of time, more comfortable to hold. i think that best part of these pencils are that the metal tip that the lead comes out of actually retraces back into the plastic that way there is nothing sticking out to make a whole in your back pack or anything. They are great for drawling free hand with because you can shadow, blend and high light with ease.

He loves the colors and the fact that he can carry extra lead and not worry about finding a pencil sharpener. His work looks so much cleaner now with the better lead and that it can erase alot cleaner now. Writing essays are hard enough but now that he can make corrections and it's much cleaner makes it easier!

Packaging was very attractive, and throwing in the extra led was an added bonus. The pencils themselves are bright colored and write quite nicely with limited breakage. My teenage daughters absolutely loved them! We definitely will purchase more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ever since my son discovered mechanical pencils I have been plagued with the task of finding ones that don't break their points easily, decent eraser, and easy to find refills. These BIC velocity pencils have all of that. He can use them in school for work and those tests that are scanned. He loves the grip and the variety of colors. These actually have lasted past the two weeks where other mechanical pencils usually start arriving back in pieces. Functional, durable and fun colors. I stole his purple ones!!

The pencils are great colors and I LOVE that extra lead and erasers are included in the package. The lead allows for smooth writing that is dark and easy to read.
