Such neat writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I frequently get onto our fifth grader for her sloppy handwriting. After giving her these Bic velocity pencils to use, I believe part of the problem stems from what pencils she uses! That's not to say her handwriting isn't sloppy, but using Bic velocity pencils encourages her to write neatly simply because the pencil glides along the paper easier than traditional pencils. Erasing is also neatly done, pencil markings don't smear across the paper like they are wont to do with other pencils. All in all, I'm pretty sure I will equip my daughter with the majority of these pencils since her writing is likely to be more legible!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are someone who has a planner thend this is the pencil for you! I have a plannervous I write in multiple times a day and I usually just use a basic mechanical pencils because I prefer mechanical pencils. The Bic velocity pencils have made the mechanical pencils better! The grip is soft and truly amazing. Rarely did the lead breaks and it glides so well! The best part is it comes with extra erasers!! I absolutely love these and will buy them in the future!

Best mechanical pensils I have used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are the best I have ever used. My father is a mechanical engineer, so growing up my father insisted we use this type of pencil to write with. So I am always on the look out for good mechanical pencils that are not too expensive. The bic velocity pencils write smooth with out breakage when pressing hard. I am music instructor and these are perfect for writing out musical notation.

Pencil me in!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not use pencils as much as my daughter does so I had to go to her for an expert opinion. Right away she looks over the pencil and admires the bright colors that they come in. She picks out the blue one and starts clicking away for first use. Grabs a empty page out of her sketch book and begins to sketch away. She immediately says that she likes that it did not break right away as soon as she started to use it, then quickly she erases a portion of the face she has started. A slight grimace, as it smudges and skids" on the paper. though she is not put off since she explains to me that most pencils do this since there seems to be a coating on most new erasers. But she is back to drawing and is pleased at the texture an smoothness of the lead. This is important to her for her drafting class as she can be deducted for this on assignments. For me I would agree that I like the way it writes and a quick rub of the eraser on empty page or even the leg of my jeans gets rid of the coating. I really like the colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids could hardly wait for me to get the package opened so they could see what we were getting. They love the pencils! My 13 year old said they write smoother than the other brands. That's saying a lot!
