Finally, strong mechanical pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never, until BIC Velocity, used a mechanical pencil that could withstand much time with writing before the lead would break. This one is the first one that doesn't break every time I try to use it.

Straight to the Point

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 16yr old at home and she has had some issues with her hands growing up where she had to do certain things to strengthen her hands to write and over the years schools have used computers a lot so it wasn't always an issue, but high school changed that. She got to high school and computers are still important, but she has had to write notes and copy a lot more than she has in the past and we have tried to find writing utensils that aren't uncomfortable for her. She uses a lot of pens, but that is difficult at times like with math and she has opted to used erasable pens and some mechanical pencils. So these came and she really liked how easy it was to write, it lets your writing be clear and sharp and no dullness like other pencils, but it's also easy to hold and grip. The colors are nice, they're bright and will catch your attention. Not only that, but the pencils come with extra lead and erasers and we all know mechanical pencils and outlast their erasers EVERY TIME. That isn't a problem with this because you have extras. The pencils are nice and easy to use like any other pencil, but it has more of a grip and it's always sharp which is nice. The erasers are good as well because they work really easily and aren't like some where they erase most of your writing, but not all, these actually do a good job of erasing. I really like these and I know my 16yr old does too, these give her a little more ease when writing and will definitely be bought again.

My kids love them and Mechanical pencils are their favorite!! Thesr pencils hold up really well and their is next to no lead breakage, like with most other mechanical pencils. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 16 year old daughter loves the colors of the BIC velocity mechanical pencils. She also loves the flow of the pencil when she's writing or drawing. The fact that it comes with extra lead and erasers are a huge plus. What was she most impressed about, the eraser! It's stable and did not leave a trail when she erased a word or part of a drawing. Bottom line, these are her new favorite pencils!!!

Good Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the BIG Velocity mechanical pencils now for a few weeks and continue to like the engineered design of the finger grip. Fits perfectly in my hand and is lighter weight than the pencil I used to use. I love the bold colors as well. The lead is very smooth and doesn't smudge easily, which I certainly appreciate. The only thing that I do not like is the plastic cap on the eraser. I discarded all of those so they don't get in my way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave one pack to each of my teens to try out and they both love them. They love how they feel in their hands as they are writing with them. These pencils write soooo smoothly and evenly. They have been using them for drawing as well as doing their summer homework. Both kids are begging me to keep buying these for them to use in school. Thanks BzzAgent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great mechanical pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these in my day-to-day business writing. I love the way it writes (the lead gives a crisp, clean look, almost like a pen). The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is it doesn't erase very well. My daughter, whom I have the second package too, likes them also. She had the same complaint about erasing, so she uses a different eraser, and she said that works better. I've definitely recommend these to other people, who have noticed that I've now started doing a lot of my writing with these

Big Hit here!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These went right to my 4th Grader to test out. He loves mechanical pencils and says these are really good. He also found out that you can take the squishy part off and exchange it with one from another pencil in another color. This gave him a bunch of customized 2 tone mechanical pencils, which must be something exciting to your average 4th grader. He thought it was pretty cool. Also, it writes very well and he can no easily do his homework! A plus for me, not so much for him- he's a homework hater!
