Having thicker lead is good because you don't have to worry about them breaking every 2 seconds when you are writing and/or drawing something. Seems like you could be able to draw or write with these with ease. I did receive this product for free to review and to give my honest opinion about. #gotitfree #bicvelocity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC Velocity is an awesome pencil. I am now using them at work when I used to use a regular pencil. I tend to grip pencils hard and the lead on these Bic Velocity Pencils do not break the lead. Smooth writing and easy to erase as well. My kids have even switched pencils to the BIc Velocity pencils as their mechanical pencil of choice!!

These pencils are strong and durable, plus erase cleanly so there is not a ton of wasted paper. Refillable so therefore reusable. They were very excited to receive them and try them out.
