I love watching my kids doodle and doodle until their pencil is completely out of lead. More then ever, they stop whatever productive activity they are doing because once their lead breaks, they don't want to read sharpen. Now I've watched them sit for hours and doodle draw and write. I couldn't be happier, and neither can they!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know who loves these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils more...the kids or adults! I too am excited about how great they work an make writing more fun for myself! haha. I keep them in my pen/pencil holder at work also and so many people have asked to borrow my colorful pen. I show them it's a cool pencil and they want to know where I got them from. Coupons that were included with this kit have been flying off my desk for people wanting them. The lead stays even and smooth and we have never had a issue with it breaking. Just wearing down with all the writing we are doing with these. The erase is designed well and works great. No messing marks or torn papers. I, especially, like the cushion on the barrel part for easy gripping. Fantastic, well-made pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, So my kids will no longer use a #2 standard school pencil. They are all about the mechanical pencil. So this buzz kit was a hit at my house. These pencils come in a nice variety of colors so breaking up the colors for my son and daughter was a snap. Love that they came with extra erasers, as well as extra lead, most pencils don't. So when the lead or eraser is gone...so is the pencil. Good thinking Bic. The pencil quality is great, my kids notice that a bunch of the cheaper brands of pencils have squeaky lead that breaks when you barely touch the paper. These pencils are strong and write very nice. The erasers are great too, it actually erases things fully and the eraser doesn't leave marks. I shared pencils with friends and they thought they were great too. I passed out coupons provided in the buzz kit, hopefully the kids going back to school will have these in their back pack! #GotItFree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were psyched to see these BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils come in the mail the other day! They are so awesome! My kids tore into the package and for the first time, couldn't wait to start using them on their summer homework packets! The pencils are great because they are smooth to write with, and very easy to use, which is especially helpful for my son who prefers not to write out summaries or stories. The extra lead for the pencils is great, but the extra erasers is huge! The erasers work so well, even when erasing over the same spots several times. These pencils will last so much longer with the extra parts, which is great because they last long already! I'm hoping they last through the summer so they can bring them to school in the fall! I've already passed out some of the coupons to friends for back to school shopping!

He would rather use the mechanical pencils. I did take one to try it out. He got mad but they write great with sturdy lead.
