Mechanical wow?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bic Velocity Mechanical pencils for free to try out. My kids were hesitant because of their history with mechanical pencils. The weight is usually all wrong, you can't press hard, and sometimes the lead just breaks. My eldest daughter is in junior high and has been happy overall with the pencils. She likes that they are slightly heavier than the competitor. The lead seems fine with her. I'm giviving them a 3 out
Of 5 because the eraser doesn't do the job. It constantly pops out of its holder on you when you try to erase something. I'm not sure I would purchase in the future.

Fun colors but, functional!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils came in some fun colors which are great for my daughter. However, color pizzazz aside, these are extremely convenient as there is n need for sharpening and work is always done neatly!

BIC VELOCITY ROCKS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are great. The lead is easy to erase with less breakage than other pencils we have used. I would recommend these to everyone who prefers mechanical pencils.

Awesome pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a good mechanical pencil and these are the best I have ever used. They write extremely smooth and erase with ease. I was really surprised with how strong the lead was. I normally break the lead quickly but these pencils were able to handle my heavy hand quite well. And they come in such pretty colors (they pencils not the lead). They are also #2 pencils so if you are feeling nice you can let the kiddos use them for school, or like in my case everyone in the house loved them so much they all disappeared. Thankfully I hide some for myself before they were all claimed.

As long as you have lead at home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to get these pencils to try because it is something I would be able to use, not just occasionally, but everyday. What struck me first was the very nice colors to the pencils. We can divide them out and know whose is whose by looking at the colors, not just fighting with the constant "She has my stuff" argument going on. These pencils are very sturdy and definitely will hold up to some abuse for quite some time. I was surprised that the eraser, which is white, actually erases things. That is almost a miracle by itself. The lead that is included is also very strong. It doesn't break off as easily as others do, nor other regular pencil tips either. This is a great product that I like with one exception. You may not have to sharpen it ever, but you do need to make sure you are stocked with lead.

Kids love the Bic Velocity mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these pencils have worked great so far. My high school aged kids both love them, and they seem to be holding up better than some mechanical pencils have in the past. I will most likely purchase these pencils in the near future.

Great pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you BzzAgent for letting me sample the Bic Mechanical pencils. The color are great and each of my children were able to split them up by favorite colors which was very convenient. The pencils were sturdy and stood up to three kids who press extremely hard. Normally they break pencils easily. They didn't have that problem this time. I have one child whom is left handed, he struggles with pencils and pens, he didn't have problems with this one. The erasers never last long enough for my kids. I appreciate that these were slightly longer than most others. The grip is good and doesn't cause pain on little fingers. Overall this is a great product and i would highly recommend it to anyone. The price is about average so you can't go wrong.
