Loving Pencils Again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always hated writing with pencils. So much so that my hubby and I had a conversation that with computers and my hatred of reg pencils that I hoped one day they would become obsolete. After trying Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils, I would rather use those than any other pencil or pen!! I do not know if it is just me but I feel that the led is stronger in these than other mechanical pencils. Seems as if the kids are not going thru the led as fast due to it always breaking. I love the smoothness of the way it writes. These pencils seem to glide across the paper. And me even as an adult, really dig all of the colors!! I also appreciate the fact that because there is a variety of colors in one package that even boys and girls could share them. I highly recommend these to everyone.

Super Excited for School

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Back to school shopping is always such a hassle, but my son was SO EXCITED to have these pencils to go back to school with. Not only were they cool looking and work wonderful, but he can avoid the manual sharpener! I guess these things are important! I saved a few of the pencils back for my own use at home and at work. I have to say, I am as equally impressed as he is! The lead does not break as easily as some mechanical pencils, the lead writes dark and the eraser works great! Plus, it feels good in your hand unlike some of the thin ones you buy. As a conservative/budget shopper, I was also very pleased that extra lead and erasers were included. We won't be running out to buy more supplies part way through the year! We will continue to buy this product for sure. Thank you BIC!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves these pencils. She prefers mechanical pencils over regular pencils. They help her write better. We love the fact that they write so smoothly. The different colors are fun as well. Outside of school work, she also loves to doodle/draw with these.

High Schooler Approved

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] High school boys might be the worst critic out there when it comes to a pretty" (and by that I mean "non standard yellow) pencil. My own High School boy won't get close to anything that might be girly. So I was quite pleased when these mechanical pencils managed to fly under the radar and ended up in his supplies! The rubber grips are just right. Small enough to not bulk the pencil up and make it "showy"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter will only use mechanical pencils and with school right around the corner, we were excited to get these. We both love the way the pencils feel in our hands. More like a pen feel. They are easy to hold and easy to write with. Made a mistake? No problem! The lead erases easily to leave a cleaner look than most other pencils. And the best thing of all, they come with extra lead! These are definitely our go to pencils from now on.

Cute mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pencils are really cute and bright. I think they are a nice quality but not over the top great. Neither of my kids is willing to swap them for their favorite mechanical pencils. In a side-by-side comparison, there isn't much difference in the size or shape of the pencils, just the clicking mechanism. I also think the gripping area is more narrow. Both of them are lefties and I don't know if that makes a difference or not.
