Excellent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually stick to the packs of BIC pencils that have 24 cheap pencils in them, so I was really excited to have received these to buzz about! I was actually a little apprehensive at first, but, they have become my favorite lead based writing utensil! Anyway, personally I think these pencils are great. They write very smoothly. I haven't had an issue with putting too much pressure and having the lead snap. The erasers on these pencils are pretty nice too. They don't seem to disintegrate into tiny specks like ones on cheaper mechanical pencils. They also don't make that horrible 'noise' that the pink erasers do either, which is great. Speaking of erasers, one thing I don't understand is the caps. The erasers have caps on them. ...Why? I think they're supposed to prevent having the lead get pushed out accidentally while you have the pencils in your bag or a case or something. However, upon trying out these pencils for the first time, I immediately lost two of the caps. They're clear so they are very difficult to find if you misplace them. Be careful.

BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are a good quality mechanical pencil. I found the pencils to be easy to refill with lead. I have not needed to change the eraser yet, but it is simple to do as well. The pencils write smoothly and erase clean. I like the cap on the eraser. The only downside I found to the pencils is that the grip is hard, I wish they had a softer more comfortable grip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited until my teenager started back to school to help me out with the review because he has always preferred mecanical pencils over the #2 ones. After his first day of school he let me know that he would use these for the rest of his school years. My son could not believe that this was actually a pencil, from the click on top to the eraser on the bottom it was perfect. He loved how easily he could hold the pencil and how the lead did not break once he started writing. The tip looked like a pen and wrote as smoothly as one. His teacher said he would be able to take standardized tests with it because the lead was dark enough. He also noticed how the lead lasted longer because it was thicker and did not break as soon as the lead. touched the paper. This mechanical pencil gets an A+

Best Pencils I've Ever Tried!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got these,I didn't know what to expect. Mechanical pencils have always been hard for me...too much pressure, easily breaking,no support on my fingers. These are completely different. They feel more like a well cushioned pen. Writing is seamless and fluid. It's really fun to write with these.I really enjoy them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thsee mechanical pencils are the best thing next to buttered bread. Very easy to use and refill. The pencils write very smooth, and don't break constantly. The color selection is very nice and males and females can find a color they want. That comes in handy with families that have a boy and a girl. But, with me..I get all the girly" colors. I will definitely be buying these in the future. Not only are they great but

Great Pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thrilled with the new BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils and so are my kids. I received two packages as a part of my Buzz campaign and took one to work and gave the other to my 3 children. We all love them. This pencil is easy to grip, writes very well and I also break the lead less often. There is a pencil grip integrated into the pencil which makes it much easier to hold and to write with. The eraser is longer which is great for the kids as they erase much more than I do. It is rare that you find a product which works for everyone in our household. BIC has hit a homerun with the Velocity Mechanical Pencils.
