They immediately ripped open the package to try them out as they were the expensive ones they drool over in the store. The pencils lived up to their expectations and they love them. They said they write smooth, don't break and erase well. When they head back to school they will be giving them to their friends to try out as well.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm excited to say that I don't have to feel bad telling my kids no anymore for these type of pencils. BIC Velocity pencils not only come with the extra led but thicker erasers and the perfect grip tips. I won't be wasting my money anymore and my kids won't be frustrated that the lead is constantly breaking and they don't have replacement lead. I can even feel comfortable writing with them and I have trouble gripping due to chronic pain in my hands. BIC invested in the kids and I fully support this new product for my kids to start the new school year with.

They write smoothly and are comfortable to grip. They're attractive and well made. My kids are fighting over who gets to use them for school! Everyone in my house loves these pencils and I would say they are some of the best mechanical pencils I have ever used. Very sturdy and not flimsy or easily broken at all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a great value! We usually buy the value pack of BIC mechanical pencils at the start of the school year. Then the kids start begging for those pricey fatter pencils that come in packs of one or two that they see their friends with. This solves the problem! These are low priced (about $1 each) and sturdy, they write well and erase well, and they come in such fun colors too- suitable for boys or girls. We love these. Leads did NOT break easily like the cheaper ones sometimes do. Nothing bad to say about these at all. Great value, great pencils.
