They write very smoothly and if you are anything like me and grip your pencil very tight the extra cushioning really helps. I highly recommend these pencils for people in school or just on a regular basis.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The moment we recieved the Bzzkit with the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils both of my teens were all over them. The package was ripped opened the moment I got a picture of them. They have since been used non stop each day since we have had them, and school hasn't even started yet. My 14 year old daughter has been using them to make flash cards and taking notes for her Advanced English summer assignment. While my 13 year old son has been using them to work on improving his handwriting skills. He's been working hard all of his life in Occupational Therapy. These mechanical pencils have been a life saver for us. He is starting back up in therapy and has been using them to practice. He even wants to take them to show off at therapy. These would be an excellent tool in not only an educational environment, but also those used to help children learn the skills to succeed in improving their handwriting for school. The soft grips make them comfortable to hold, so my children enjoyoy using them. Not only that but they also love the darker lead, which makes their writing more crisp and clear, not worrying about sharpening a pencil over and over, the bright vibrant variety of colors, and the ease of refilling lead and erasers. That's how often they've been used so far. I definitely see these being used far into the future in our home. I believe they are an amazing learning tool for helping kids of all ages be more excited to write, and aide in creating that passion for writing as well! My husband and I have also tried them out for ourselves, and we are just as impressed as our children about how well they work compared to the average mechanical pencil.

He likes how the thicker lead is more sturdy than some other pencils he has used. I like how mistakes are erased cleanly (you know boys - they don't care much about making things neat and clean!) The colors are also fun and stand out.

I guess its a thing at her school. She usually shares them among her classmates but she told me instead of giving out the ones we got for review she will be giving out some coupons to her classmates. Very sweet of her you can say lol....What she loves most about them is the color variations of it and the fine point of it. She said its very smooth and she can draw really good w it.

Thank you for sending me 2 packages because I have 3 kids in school and this really helped them out tremendously. They love how easy the pencils are to use and they don't have to keep getting up to sharpen pencils. The lead is nice, flows across the page and doesn't smudge or smear. Eraser on top does a good job removing all trace of pencil, you can barely see anything was there. I also love the fact it comes with extra lead and erasers. Great job BIC!

Maintain Writing Velocity with BIC Velocity

As a teacher I have never been a fan because of snapping leads, lead replacement, scratchy writing noise, and shredding erasers. Boy are the BIC Velocity none of that! They write smoothly without catching or scratching on the paper. I have had no issues with pressure breaking the lead constantly like I have had with some in the past. My son loves these, too, after only using his one favorite brand. This is HUGE because he is one where he finds something he likes and sticks with it. While doing homework he needed more lead so I let him use one of mine. He instantly loved it. His other kind had a lot of extra clear plastic around it adding a bulkier grip, which he liked, but it cracked and broke off quite often. He doesn?t have one of those pencils that aren?t cracked. These are a slimmer grip and a sleeker body/casing. Now that he?s been using these for a month, and being in high school he throws them in his pocket and goes to the next class, they have withstood it all. The erasers are strong, don?t shred, and don?t require constant replacement like others. The package does come with extra erasers though! I also like the caps on the erasers that keep it from pushing out too much extra lead. Since my son has it in his pocket, I am sure this has helped with longevity of use. Mine are in my teacher bag and it has kept the erasers clean, too. While I am trying the product free thanks to BIC, my opinions and experiences are my own and I have been very pleased. I definitely recommend it.

The great thing about them is they come with refillable leads. They are super smooth when writing with them. They came in great colors for the colors of the pencil (not the lead). I will purchase these in the future. #GotItFree
