Awesome Pencils, 10 out of 10!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving the #BICVelocity mechanical pencils! They write very smoothly and the lead doesn't break as easily as with other pencils. I received this product for free from #BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review. I received 2 5 packs of pencils and they are absolutely amazing. The leads are very easily replaced, just by pulling up the eraser, they're not wedged in there like the BIC pencils of the past. The grip on the pencil is a rather nice touch, it cushions your fingers so you don't get that indent when writing for long periods of time. I've been a fan of BIC products for as long as I can remember and these are the best pencils they've put out in, well...ever! The colors are bright and vibrant and very pleasing to look at. I would definitely purchase more both for myself and my cousins who are in 9th and 3rd grade. They're great #2 pencils, perfect for test taking and note keeping and just every day use!

Smooth sailing

For one, these pencils seem to write darker than other pencils, often I don't write with pencils because they're too light to read, but not these!

BIC velocity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the pencils were awesome. My 10 y/o daughter stole a couple to use for her math homework. The only thing I didn't really understand was the plastic cover on the eraser, that was a little weird. The pencils write very nice. The eraser in general was a little off....it felt weird to erase something.

Not just for kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok confession, I kept a few of these pencils for myself. The lead writes smoothly without breaking. The eraser actually erases instead of just smudging. The bright colors and easy to use mechanics make this a must have for the kids. However it is a comfortable pencil that will cause mom or dad to save one for themselves.

Mechanical Pencil Fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids have always preferred mechanical pencils for school. In the past I would choose the Bic 24 pack and make them last all year. I have one child that insists on the more expensive mechanical pencils. She loved the Bic Velocity pencils. The lead didn't break easily and the eraser is great. I don't really think there needs to be a plastic cap on the eraser. It will be easily lost which is really no big deal. We loved the colors and the pencil grip. This is one pencil that I wouldn't mind paying more for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, my son really likes these pencils so I decided I had to see what the hype was all about. I have to admit, I am a pen person and I rarely use pencils. However, I decided to give these pencils a try.
These pencils are great as far as pencils go. They are strong, they write smooth, they don't smudge, the leads don't break. They fill comfortable in my hands. They are refillable. But the main advantage they have over pens is that they are erasable. And they erase clearly and cleanly.
I still love my pens but I am quick to reach for one of these pencils.

The lead is sturdy enough that it doesn't break, even when pressing hard on the paper, yet writes smoothly. The erasers erase smoothly and completely, leaving no smudges behind. The best thing is the comfort tip. I passed out many pencils to my kids and their friends and all of them agree these pencils are great! I will definitely be buying these in the future!
