Awesome! My kids loved these pencils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids loved these pencils... They each got a pack to start school with, and they preferred these mechanical pencils to regular #2 pencils. I used a few as well and agree that they are much better. They write smoother, and no need to sharpen. If the lead breaks you can instantly continue your work. Perfect for all the note taking my high school son has to do. I used them for drawing, and they are perfect for all of those tiny details only a small lead can get.

Kids love writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] #GotitFree #BicVelocity The kids loved the bright colors and the awesome grip for their fingers. The grip is thicker than average, making them easier to hold. They write really smooth and no need to sharpen over and over. They are enjoying using these at school for note taking and tests. The erasers are durable and erase well without smearing.

great pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave a pack for my step son to take to school with him, though I am in college, I used the pencil several times during my summer courses. the pencil works exceptionally well. though the led is a little thick I like more of a .5 but I still enjoyed using the pencil, it gets the task done. I loved the bright selections of colors they had. The eraser worked very well as well, it didn't leave any smudges like some others do. I have been a big fan of Bic for a long time and its great to see them still expanding on selections of their products. I also had the pleasure of sharing a few of these pencils with class mates. you'd be surprised on how many people show up to class with no writing utensils. so I gladly shared mine and received some feed back that they really liked the pencils, and of course being generous I told them to keep it and get some use out of it. they said they liked the grip it didn't leave there fingers sore like some others do, which I have to agree the grip was nice I am a pretty hard writer and some times my middle finger gets pretty sore, but surprisingly even after a 3 hour lecture of writing my finger wasn't sore! I think this product of bics stands out and is something I would recommend for other school students to use. Actually I have been seeing these everywhere and even got some shots of the displays at my college book shop! they have some catchy advertisement! and their prices are very reasonable!

Win-win-win: Fun colors, strong lead, easy erase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received free samples of the new BIC Velocity pencils. These pencils come in fun, bright colors. The only draw back is that every pack comes with a pink as well as a purple pencil which my boys refused to use. Fortunately for me, I have a daughter who happily claimed these colors. Unlike many other pencils in the similar price point which tends to break easily, or feels like you are ripping the paper as you write, the lead in these pencils are strong and writes very smoothly. Also, it really does erase very easily and leaves the paper quite clean of leftover marks. #gotitfree

Writing is "Cool" now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. As she says "writing with these pencils is cool." She loves the colors there are to choose from, the fact that they come with extra erasers. Which this is the first mechanical pencil lead that she does not have to press so hard when erasing so she is not using nearly as much eraser. She states the lead writes so smoothly. Every store we go to she looks to see if they carry them. And I must admit I have borrowed them when I needed a pencil and love them myself.

Love at first writing

My son says it is the best writing pencil he has and he doesn't have to visit the sharpner like his class mates thanks for letting him try these out

BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are a new favorite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is a freshman in high school and uses mechanical pencils pretty exclusively. The kind I used to buy her broke easily and the eraser made a big mess every time she used it. I had her try BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils and she was very impressed. She said they write very smoothly and the eraser doesn't leave big smudges all over her paper. We'll be using BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has actually used the iPad less and has been carrying around a tablet (An actual paper tablet!) to write in since she was introduced to the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. She actually has mentioned that she likes writing more because these erasers actually work and the pencils are cutes and fun to use. I thought they would be liked but I was actually shocked that they are her new favorite thing and have caused her to unplug more. A win for everyone!!!
