Bic Velocity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these mechanical pencils are good! When you are writing and need to erase, there is no greyish black film where you erased! Normally when I write with a lead pencil the lead breaks constantly. With the Bic Velocity the lead seems to stand up and not break! Really liking this! #GotItFree #BicVelocity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these are made well. My daughter who is in Jr high loves these better then the ones I buy her for school. They are easy to draw with and to write and not brake all the time. I used them as well and I have to say I like the way they felt on my fingers. When you have not written in a long time I have to say I really do like them and my daughter is very happy with them since she has been in school already. I would have never tried them if not for BuzzAgent

Mechanical Pencil just Fine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Though my 3 kids always want mechanical pencils my 14 year old is the only one who has used them so far since school doesn't start for a few more weeks. She said they are "fine, not any better or worse than any others" I have purchased in the past. Her big compliment to them is the fact that there is a cover on the eraser. She says that way the eraser won't get dirty in her pencil case. So there you have it, Bic mechanical pencils are "fine".

Fun and colorful

I love everything bic and these are no exception. My niece loves led pencils and she likes these because they are so brightly colored and fun looking. You can easily find these almost everywhere and affordable.

BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils: a big hit from the beginning and they continue to be a big hit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My teens and even us adults are more than impressed by the BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils! This is my updated review after giving them, and us, some extra time to use them throughout the summer before school starts. My 15 year old very particular daughter has been using them nonstop during summer doing her Advanced Summer English assignment. She’s also been using them to study for Spanish for the upcoming year, and her drivers permit test. She uses the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils to make note cards for each subject to study. They have become extremely helpful in encouraging her to be on task. My 13 year old son has had occupational issues and fine motor skill issues all his life. Handwriting has been a struggle for him and much more frustration than fun. He absolutely loves these pencils and has been using them to practice his writing skills. He's been writing short stories at home about things he enjoys l, or fun things we’ve done over the summer. He has also been using them in Occupational Therapy as well. The vibrant choice of colors excites them as well as the fine darker lead which helps make their writing more crisp and clear. This is especially helpful for my son given his challenges with handwriting. The soft grip is exceptionally helpful for my son and even my daughter, which provides a more comfortable grip. No more need to sharpen a pencil, and refilling lead and erasers is a breeze. The BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils have been a life saver for us! These pencils have helped pull my kids away from their electronics and get their minds back into school ahead of time. Which as a parent that's a major achievement! They are an amazing learning tool for a variety of age ranges. They help in engaging children of all ages so they can be more passionate about writing. They have aided in sparking a passion for writing in our home. These would be an amazing tool in not only an educational school environment, but also those used to help children learn the skills to succeed in improving their handwriting for school. All of us as a family feel the BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils surpass the average mechanical pencil, and we highly recommend that families give them a try this year during school. The only letdown is that the erasers are not as strong as they could be. My kids prefer to use different erasers. That doesn't discourage me from giving 5 stars because regardless of this they are an amazing mechanical pencil and completely worth the purchase!

Awesome pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I gave my daughter a pack and I kept one for myself. She loves them but I think I am more into these pencils then she is. I am now taking mine to work to use there and don't even use the ones they provide anymore. The eraser does and fantastic job as well. I am sold!

Got kids excited

When I gave her some of the Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils, she was thrilled and excited to pack them in her backpack for school. She has always enjoyed getting school supplies, and this was no exception. It is a great way to motivate her to do her best work with her new fun pencils!
