Loved the pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 17 year old loves these. He said they work great for school and the lead doesn't break easy. He did not leave the cap on the eraser as it was a hassle to remember to remove it all the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kids were so excited to take these to school. They are always running out of lead before the eraser is gone or vice versa! The older kids like the responsibility of replacing the lead or eraser themselves. The little containers keep them organized and don't take up much room in a pencil case. Great bright colors too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were excited to try out the new Bic Velocity mechanical pencils and it was perfect time for back to school. Pencils are the most important school supply, you can?t go to school without one, so I always want to make sure my kids are stocked for back to school. I have made the mistake of picking up some cheapo- no name pencils in the past, which I will no longer do, but in doing that I have criteria of what makes a pencil worthy of me and my kids. My criteria for a great pencil: Writes smooth Lead isn?t too thin, causing it to continually break comfortable to hold eraser works and doesn?t leave marks on the paper cool, fun colors and attractive design a plus! The Bic Velocity is a great pencil and I would, and currently am, sending this to school with my kids. The Bic Velocity has a nice gripper on the pencil making holding the pencil comfortable. The lead seems like it is a nice quality and can hold up to my kids pushing heavy on the pencil when writing. As you are writing, it goes on smooth, almost like a pen. With kids, and math, we tend to have to fix our answers, sometimes more than once. We have not had any issues using the eraser on the Bic Velocity. It erases what is intended and leaves the paper in tacted. Best of all, the pencils are super cute! My kids were all excited to take attractive colored mechanical pencils to school this year! We received a sample of Bic Velocity Pencils from Bic in return for an honest review. Great job Bic Velocity! I will be purchasing these again. #BICVelocity #GotItFree #backtoschool #bzzagent #tweenapproved

Mechanical pencils that don't break the first day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC Velocity mechanical pencils aren't like the cheap junky and easy to break ones. I don't usually buy mechanical pensils because I don't think they're worth it. These ones are. They are comfortable in your hand and well made enough to survive school.

Great pencil, but poor eraser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencil is a nice sturdy pencil. The lead is smooth, the grip is comfortable, it comes in great colors. But there is more to a pencil than just the lead... There is also an eraser. Unfortunately, the BIC velocity mechanical pencils eraser doesn't hold up. It may be because of the thickness of the lead or the intensity of its pigment, but regardless of cause, it doesn't completely erase without considerable effort...meaning you'll run out of eraser too soon. In summary, this is a great pencil, and just average eraser.

Kids LOVE these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girls helped me open up my Bzzkit and were super excited when they saw the pretty mechanical pencils in it! They each got to pick two of their favorite colors to take to school, and got to keep them in their own pencil boxes, instead of putting them in the community bin, because they were so special! they have been writing with them, can erase easily, and my youngest with a broken thumb doesn't have to worry about trying to sharpen it!!

Loving these pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these pencils have saved my school supply budget. My autistic daughter will only use mechanical pencils, but is very picky about them. We would spend a small fortune on pencils in a school year. She absolutely loves these pencils and tells me so every day. I won't buy anything else now.
