Good for School

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave the pencils to my kids so that they could try them out at school. They love them. The y pencils are easy to grip and write smoothly. I tried out one at home and feel the same way. We love BIC pencils.

never ending lead

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being that time of year when everyone is scrambling to find school supplies we always jump to the mechanical kind. We have tried other brands and have never been happy with them. Always breaking and losing the lead. With the Bic Velocity mechanical pencil we have not had to replace the lead yet. The lead is thicker than most and very smooth. It almost feels like a pencil that has to be sharpened. The eraser is really good. Others crumble when used. The Velocity held up really well. We will be purchasing more packages before they fly off the shelves.

Favorite Pencils - won't use any others!

They are cool looking and easy to use. they always ask me to get them some every school year and throughout the year when to replace the ones they lost (ugghh!) but I get them since I know they like they way they write. We have tried others, but these work the best. The lead erases without leaving faded lines of what was written. The lead doesn't break easily, which is great! Would definitely recommend to others!

High Schoolers fighting over them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My high schoolers are always begging for mechanical pencils. When I received the 2 packages, the 3 high schoolers fought over who was getting them. It was really funny to watch, especially since it is still summer vacation for them. They have already put them in their backpacks for the first day of school.

She loves the colors of them all! Thank you so much for the free pencils. She will be passing out the pencils when she attends the last week of camp to her friends. I love it best because the lead is replaceable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has to use a mechanical pencil for math. He has some issues with writing but these seem to be good pencil for him. They have nice grips and smooth dark heavy leads that don't snap when you push on them a little bit. I also like the fact that it come with extra leads and erasers.

My BIC Velocity Experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils were just the righty gift for my son who enjoys writing with mechanical pencils. I received my bonus and surprise packs of BIC mechanical pencils very promptly from the BzzAgent campaign and I am so pleased that I did.
I decided to try one out for myself and they really do write smoothly! I like the fact that the colors are vibrant, eye-catching, and gives students the opportunity to choose their favorite or most liked color.
For me, effective writing begins with a good writing stencil and these mechanical pencils encourages me to write more.
