Awesome addition to your average middle school kiddo!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The soft grip of the pencil makes it easy to just keep writing - the strong lead provided a pretty smooth stroke. The durability compared to other lead pencils is pretty incredible. We will be buying more of these for sure.

Quality mechanical pencils with perks!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My two teenager and myself (a teacher) are experts in mechanical pencils. These are awesome. The lead is strong and does not break. I've bought several mechanical pencils that write great but then randomly break because the lead is already broken inside the pencil. Another thing I love about these pencils.....replaceable lead AND erasers. I've purchased other pencils that come with extra lead. It is rare to find replaceable erasers. These pencils also have a nice grip. Have already repurchased!

Smooth Writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter started school on August 12 and began using the Velocity Pencils right away. She LOVES them!! She had to take state required testing last Thursday and she said the pencils worked great! They were smooth and easy to use. My son will soon be using the pencils also!!

Top pencil for back to school

The fun barrel colors give her a choice in what color pencil she wishes to use. The lead writes smoothly and dark, not requiring hard pressure. The eraser removes all marks not leaving shadows. BIC Velocity mechanical pencils have outdone themselves. Thanks for making my daughter excited for school to start.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I had gotten these pencils thru bzzagent I like most people thought, "whats the big deal. All mechanical pencils are the same." Boy was I wrong! The lead in these pencils are a lot more sturdy. MY 8yo is always breaking the lead on her pencils mechanical and normal. She just refuses to not press so hard. So I let her try these out and now have a pencil that the lead is not breaking every letter she writes. Also am very impressed with the eraser. The mechanical pencils I bought for school last yr would just leave big grey smudges ad never fully erase the mistake. These new ones erase completely with no left over smudge residue. I have saved the rest my pack for when they start school. The only downfall I really found was the price. But overall the price is well worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think you guys have surely uped your game. I honestly don't think there was a difference in mechanical pencils but you have proven me wrong. The lead writes as smooth as a pen. I never would have even thought that would be possile. The rubber grip fits perfectly tly for all sized hands. My daughter was so excited to use "fancy" pencils for school. I loved that there were lead and eraser refills included with the pack. That makes life WAY easier then trying to go back to the store and figuring what size lead and what not. These are very convenient and we'll thought out. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to try them!

Fantastic pencils!!

They prefer mechanical pencils over regular #2 pencils but often deal with the lead from mechanical pencils breaking easily. They the strength of the lead. They love how smoothly the pencils write. And most of all, they love how cleanly the lead erases from the paper. We will purchasing more of these for the school year!
