Amazing!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the box velocity mechanical pencils and I love them! I don't use pencils very often but I have used one of these for most of my notes around the house. I am left handed and most of the time I smear the page as I write. The leads are then with the pencils and I have not had that problem. The lead is not too dark and not too light. When I have to erase something..it erases completely. The only problem I have had is when erasing I tend to push more lead out and break it off when I start to write again. If I can only remeber to push it back in a little before writing. My kids have not tried these yet but they have been packed into their backpacks to use when school starts back next week. Can't wait to see how they enjoy them!!

Loving the pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First day of school was yesterday. My daughter was excited to take her new Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils. They really are so much better than the standard #2 pencils - no sharpener is needed, the tips don't break off like the other mechanical pencils we've had in the past, they erase like a normal pencil, they are easy to hold in your hand, and they just look cool. Thank you for introducing these to us.

Smooth writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pencil lead writes nicely and is smooth on paper. The Pencil itself could use a cushioned gripper. I do tend to hold my writing appliance pretty firmly though.

Needs more cushion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love mechanical pencils ... and these seemed great with the rubber grip, but it provides little cushion. I tend to hold my writing utensil very firmly and like a decent amount of cushion. This had some, but could use more. The did write very smooth, and the lead was excellent. #BICVelocity #GotItFree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the thick make of the pencil because it harder to break. I've never seen a yellow pencil before and that was great. I didn't get the annoying scraping sound like with other pencils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was sitting at the table last night and showed me how she likes that the eraser on these pencils is covered with a cap. She really likes that feature and wanted to show me how she likes it. She is happy with these pencils and has told me they work great! She's also been comparing her pencil to her friends pencil and said hands down these are the best mechanical pencil she's used and asked me to get some more. She's using it for her homework. Hard to believe school has already started this week! She's also been using them since we got them to draw. The lead is dark and crisp she says. Yes the lead does erase cleanly which an added bonus. She asked when we use up the lead to buy more and I told her I would. I agree with her that these are a great back to school pencil and we'll definitely keep them around!
