BIC VELOCITY PENCILS

My children and I started to use these and were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they are in our hands. Writes well and erases very well. #BICVELOCITY #GotItFree

Love these colorful pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received my Bic Velocity mechanical pencils and my two teenage boys loved them. They love using mechanical pencils in school and go through them quickly. These are super colorful and write great. Smooth and the lead didn't break like the cheaper brands. And I loved that they came with a bunch of extra erasers...they always run through them fast. And with the great coupons they are cheaper than off brand! Thanks BzzAgent!

Ready for school!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these mechanical pencils arw super fun yet functional at the same time. With different colors to choose from, who wouldn't be excited to go back to school? These write smoothly with a strong led and are easily erasable. They're easy to grip and come with a compact container to store extra led and erasers.

Bic Velocity Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Alright, well I'm not a fan. I am THE most picky person when it comes to my writing utencils. So for me, this wasn't a win. Particularily because of the way the lead feeds through the pencil, I prefer side advancement for my mechanical pencils. But, I still give these pencils four stars. Why? My nine year old LOVES them. She loves the colors and in fact drew up her own pro/con list for the pencils and has already stolen the remaining few and put them into her bookbag for next school year.
Her top favorite reason for loving these pencils, the colors. They are vibrant and pretty. She also really enjoyed the grip - she tends to grip her pencil hard enough to leave marks on her fingers and these position her fingers to give her more control and less stress while writing (Which is why I have now changed four stars to five stars!). She also liked that extra lead was supplied, she likes to be able to refill when she needs to and there are extra leads and erasers for her when she needs them (which is often for as much as she likes to draw/write).

Her cons, were none. My cons were the fact that when you erased the lead would come out and if you weren't careful would end in waste. I also like softer lead (Papermate is a favorite).
But, looking through the pro's vs cons, these are pretty good pencils and probably will be purchased again here soon to get my nine year old stocked up for school!

Great mechanical pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sixth grade daughter loves these pencils she said she's excited to use them at school and show them to her friends because they write smoothly and they have a cool That keeps the eraser safe. As a parent I love these pencils that comes with lead an extra erasers and lead.The lead is durable. As a employee in a school I have used all kinds of pencils and mechanical pencils this BIC mechanical pencil is by far one of the best I have used. I would love to thank BIC for sending me these pencils for free to try out. I will definitely be buying more and sharing them with my friends .
