Writes nicely

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids are loving these mechanical pencils. They write dark and smoothly, have a durable eraser and come with a tube of lead & eraser refills. The grip is comfortable. The price is right!! A back-to-school must!!

Erasing is not very clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter that likes to journal really liked how smooth the writing is with the pencil and she also though that the lead was strong and did not break easily. She was disappointed that the erasing was not very clean and still left a visible mark, but she did like that there were replacement erasers and that the eraser has a cap.

Good pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First let me say that I love writing utensils and am rather picky about them. I am particular about the way they feel in my hand and how the lead or ink comes out on the page. So far, I like the way this pencil feels in my hand and how smooth the lead is. It erases well too. I don't find it to be dramatically different from many other pencils I have used and they are not standouts, but they are solid and I would buy them if they were cheaper than the competition.

Great Mechanical Pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is usually rough on mechanical pencils. We live in a state that uses standardized testing so I was a little skeptical. Then he used them. They are great! My son writes heavy so he normally breaks lead easy.....not this time. This mechanical pencil writes smooth and dark. Erases great. This product would be great for any age student. It would also be great in an office setting due to the fact it erases so well. We will definitely buy the refills for these. Awesome product!

BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils offer a nice grip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the feel of the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencil! I do not notice a difference in actual writing or erasing though. I had my three oldest children give them a try. They all thought they wrote fine, but also didn't notice a difference between the new pencil and the old ones we have. I am certain this pencil will not make anyone more excited about writing in this house, but they are comfortable to use and erase well.

Mechanical Tools/Genius

They make writing like a breeze and you don't have the painful hassle of having to sharpen your pencil either. There are fun cool colors to choose from and to share with friends. I don't get to write much like I use to but I would love to start again. And they give me reason to want to even more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love these new pencils. They are in cool cute colors, comfy grip to use while writing. I love that it comes with the lead and eraser refills in the pack. And my daughter was tickled that the eraser had a top, it's the little things, lol
