[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the box velocity mechanical pencils I thought they were just another mechanical pencil with lead that breaks all the time and boy was I pleasantly surprised...I opened them up to send then to school with my son and decided to try one to test it out....OMG....the soft grippy, the smooth way it wrote, the dark lead, and it didn't break the lead the first few words in...I am in LOVE!!! I use pencils at work and had to steal some of these back from my son. I know from now on we will be using the BIC Velocity pencils.

Velocity is a HIT in my house!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a few mechanical pencil fans in my house so I passed out one pack of them to my boys- aged 13 and 18 and waited for the reviews. My 18 year old uses them mainly for schoolwork- writing and such. He has been using mechanical pencils for as long as I can remember so I was anticipating his response. He really liked it, said the lead in it was very smooth and nice to write with. He especially liked that the pencils came with extra lead and most especially extra erasers!! My 13 year old is special needs, he is on the autism spectrum. He draws (and draws really well). He had a generic brand mechanical pencil that he was using. The pencil ran out of lead and I replaced it with a Velocity pencil. He wasn't too thrilled because it was different

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mechanical pencils are very exciting for my second grader. He loves to use them more than regular pencils. He loves the colors and writes more with them then anything else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like everything about these pencils. My daughter loves them, so I love them, but the best thing we love is there #2 and can be used at school and on tests.

Lead Pencil Fever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far the best lead pencil on the market. I write a ton of essays in my psychology classes and I use my Velocity pencil from beginning to end. I rarely have to replace the lead as it never breaks. These pencils also write so so smooth. I absolutely love my pencils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how easy it writes and how sturdy the led is. The led erases quite easy as well. I'm glad my kiddos got to try these out for school.
