Almost perfect...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils write very smoothly and the lead is strong. I hate when the lead constantly breaks! And with kids, that's a constant problem. They don't seem to know their own strength! And it erases easily and cleanly. They came just in time for back to school. :) If your kids like mechanical pencils, these are great! Kids are hard on pencils so the stronger lead definitely helps! The only thing I would change is the tiny cap that covers the eraser. It's very easy to lose. Especially for younger children. If the cap was somehow attached, these would be perfect! But, you can always just remove the cap and throw it away. It concerns me because I also have a toddler and it's a definite choking hazard. Easy fix though, just don't use it or be very careful and keep a close eye on it. #bicvelocity #gotitfree

My son enjoys them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is a senior in highschool this year and has been using these pencils since the first day of school. He likes how the thicker lead is more sturdy than some other pencils he has used. I like how mistakes are erased cleanly (you know boys - they don't care much about making things neat and clean!) The colors are also fun and stand out.

Great pencil for the price point

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC's new Velocity mechanical pencils are great for their price point. The lead is HB #2 so would work on any standardized testing which is awesome for school. The grip is SUPER comfy! The erasers aren't the best ever, but they do the job, and best part is the eraser is under a nice clear plastic cap that protects it from getting yucky or lost. The colors are bold an vibrant, which is right up my kids and my alley! The more color in our lives the better! This is definitely a pencil I will buy again for my junior high kiddo! Thanks BIC for letting me try it for free! #gotitfree #bic #BICVelocity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little one is not a fan of homework. He has a habit of making a little mistake lead. To a hole in the paper. Last night, he started getting frustrated with his math homework. He was using the Velocity pencil and pushing hard. The lead stood up to his force. The mistakes erased easily and completely. He was very proud that it didn't look like a dog had eaten it by the end. His only complaint was that he wished he could get a pack without the girly" colors included. He is not a fan of the. Pale yellow and he calls the red pink. I am just happy we haven't gone through a whole pack in a week. Durable and clean erasing makes mom a happy camper"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the style and colors of these pencils. I have 2 children that are in school and they both LOVE these pencils!! My 14 year old has taken most of the pencils because he loves how smoothly they write and how well the eraser works. Usually the will take all the boy" colors and leave mommy with the 'girl" colors

Bic Velocity Pencils Make Wiring Fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bic Velocity pencils come in fun colors and feel like you are holding a pen. The lead is strong and does not easily break, while the eraser does a thorough job erasing. The price of the Bic Velocity pencils is comparable to many other mechanical pencils on the market, while the product is superior. Using Bic Velocity pencils makes writing fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these would have to be my favorite mechanical pencils I have ever used. They write so smoothly. I have some to my 12 year old daughter and she said they are the only ones she wants to use from now on. BIC Velocity pencils are great!!

The best mechanical pencils EVER!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nevermind that my daughter is doing some homework at the last minute (lol), but my girls loves these pencils. They all have said that the leads are super strong--much stronger than the others on the market. They have been using the pencils since they started school 3 weeks ago, and I have yet to replace the leads. Mechanical pencils are mandatory at my girls schools, so I will not buy ANYTHING else but the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils from this point forward. If you are still working on your kids your school supply, this is a must have. #GotItFree
