Bright Pentastic Fun!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils have a great feel and I love that the erasers and lead are both replaceable. You can get attached to a pencil and this allows you to hold on to it indefinitely

Awesome Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decided to open the package right away and get the kids using them with their summer homework. They are awesome! Smooth to write with and don't break the point easily. Kids don't really want to do homework but are happy to use these pencils. Next up writing stories!!!

Smooth Writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are cool!! I like the smoothness of the rubber grip it beats the competitors that has ridges. The lead is dark and not too thin but strong. Easy to erase. I like that these are refillable. Kids are eager to show them off in class.

My life is now full of love notes...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and I were working together this summer to improve her handwriting. She used to not want to write anything but thanks to Velocity® Mechanical Pencils she is writing notes everywhere. I came home last night to find a piece of cooked corn with this note on it, "for mom enjoy diner". She loves that they are always sharp, easy to hold with a good eraser for when it is needed. I also love that I am not constantly having to sharpen them AND they come with extra lead refills and eraser refills so I don't have to run to the store right away for more. I even find myself borrowing them from time to time. Thanks BIC and bzzagent!! #BICVelocity #GotItFree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the smoothness of the pencil. Especially for writing and even just doodling. The gripper makes it easy to hold. They are right there with the PaperMate pencils. I do a lot of erasing so I wish there was more of an eraser top.

My new favorite mechanical pencil

On the back of the package, it claims to have the "Smoothest, darkest writing vs other BIC mechanical pencils". I would have to agree with this. As an OT in the schools, I work with a lot of kids who don't use enough pressure when writing. I think these are going to be a great option for those kids. You barely have to press down to leave a mark! On the other hand, the lead is very strong, so I will also be able to use it with the kids who use too MUCH pressure and always break the lead. The pencil itself also feels more durable than other mechanical pencils I have used. Each pack comes with a variety of bright, fun colors, so there is something for everyone. The package also comes with lead AND eraser refills.
