Best Mechanical Pen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My oldest daughter has been using these mechanical pencils every day since they came in the mail. She loves them and I have to say I agree with her. They feel very sturdy in your hand without being too heavy. Some of the mechanical pencils we've used have a very cheap feel to them. I much prefer a pencil that doesn't feel like it's going to snap in my hands. My daughter loves to write and does so every day. She always has a pencil in her hand. She said these have a nice feel to them and when we went school supply shopping these are the pencils she picked up for the school year.

Smooth comfortable pencil with a clean erase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils the perfect for heading into the new school year! No need for a pencil sharpener, like standard #2 pencils.
Bright colors to please anyone. The pencil has a nice grip which made writing comfortable. The lead was smooth, no missed pencil strokes.
When erasing it didn't leave lead smudges like other pencils do.
Perfect for tests, note taking and drawing.

To use eraser or not to use eraser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pencil. It writes and feels like a pen in my hand. The only thing that I am not 100% sure of is the eraser. I love how it erases. I erases very well and again, because the pencil feels so good in my hand, it is easy to hold to erase whatever. The problem that I came across and it took me a few times to figure it out was that when I am erasing, the pencil lead comes out. The first few times, not realizing it had come out, when I went to use the pencil and lead was out pretty far, I wondered who had done it. Yesterday, as I was using the eraser, I realized I am the one that was doing it. I think the lead comes out pretty easily which is fine and nice when I am writing and need it to come out, but when I don't want it to come out, then a big piece of lead is wasted and trust me, I don't want to waste any of the lead because I love to write with the pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bic pencils write very well. You can put pressure on them without the lead breaking. The lead is nice and dark and writes very smooth.
My only complaint is they do not erase well at all. I am hoping once the eraser is used a bit, it will work better but right now it is like rubbing plastic over the pencil marks I want to erase.

Family game night

We recently had family game night, and he used it to keep score. It erases smoothly and the smooth rubber grip makes handling the pencil easy. He also loves all the different color options. It's super easy to use and the go to in a rush. #gotitfree #BIcVelocity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pencils! Not only are they stylish looking, but they actually do write smoothly as promised. I love that they come Ina pack of five with different colors. My favorite part is it comes with extra led and erasers because most other brands do not. I also like that they look more like a pen than a pencil. They are very easy to use and refill as well! Like the cap over the eraser as well. Gives it a more polished look. What would I want to know before purchasing this product? Why didn't you come up with this design sooner?! It's seriously my favorite mechanical pencil now!

Great for back to schooL!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was so excited to come home to a brand new pack of BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. He loved the variety of colors and was so excited to draw me a picture with them. The lead was so smooth he was able to sketch smoothly and if he made a mistake he was still able to erase cleanly. Although erasable, the pencil lines did not smudge with the side of his hand. He is so excited to take them to school and write with them!
