True Colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun colors, you can't pick just one! Comfortable and soft to hold. Smooth writing and erases clean. Must have for the coming school year.
I usually avoid mechanical pencils for a few reasons. I tend to put a lot of pressure on writing tools, so the lead usually breaks on me resulting in a lot of lost product. It also is hard to refill the pencils trying to fit the lead into the tiny hole. My concern is people will used to cheap mechanical pencils that can't be refilled which they're used to throwing away then they run out of lead
The Bic Velocity mechanical pencils, I have not had a problem. The lead seems to be very sturdy, and has not broken on us. That is a major bonus because I really didn't like wasting the product, even if it was just little pieces. The lead writes really smooth, and does not smear. It is even when writing, not too dark or too light. It is very comfortable to hold. These are so durable that they should last for along time. They are great for any age person to use. I would definitely recommend these pencils.

The lead is strong enough for my 5yo to use and it erases really good. Love that we got them free! #BICVelocity #GotItFree

Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive this in the mail! I could not wait to try these pencils! I must admit I am weary of mechnical pencils are I haven't had the best experience using them (repeated broken lead, running out of lead, smeared erase marks). As soon as I opened the box, I was truly impressed. The colors of the pencils are so bright and fun and each pack comes with not only 5 pencils, but extra lead and erasers! I am used to having to purchase extra lead, so seeing erasers and lead in a neat little plastic container was awesome!
Now to see if they work as well as they look! I grabbed whatever I could find (which happened to be an envelope) and started writing with the yellow pencil that I grabbed from the pack! Wow! It wrote so smoothe and erased very "clean". I even like the little cap over the eraser. I had to grab a notebook and continue try them out so more because I ran out of room on my envelope.
The Bic Velocity mechanical pencils are constructed extremely well too. They are made up of thick plastic and have a comfortable finger grip as well! I am pretty sure that it will take a while to go through a whole pack of these pencils as they are made very well.
The lead writes so smoothe and I was waiting to break a piece off but honesty I haven't broken any lead since I used them! Again, very impressed!
My 10 year old daughter hovered over my shoulder while I was trying them out and could not wait to try herself. She repeatedly asked me if she could have a pack for school as school starts next week. She also loves the colors and the way they write!
I have 4 kids starting school next week and the Bic Velocity mechanical pencils are a must on my school list for them! I can't seem to part with the ones I received so they will have a permanent place in my office! I really wasn't a fan of mechnical pencils before now and always bought my children "regular" pencils that they would have to sharpen because I just never had much luck with not breaking lead often and having smeared marks all over my papers from trying to erase. I will definitely be purchasing these pencils for my kids ages 10,12,15, and 16 as they prepare to head back to school. Now they don't have to worry about sharpening their pencils in front of the class or the teacher making them wait to do so!
Thank you Bic and Buzz agent for letting me try these pencils! They have definitely made an impression on me, my kids, and I have told my mom friends about them and will continue to do so!!! Awesome product!

Very nice mechanical pencils

It has a sturdy lead that doesn't break easily if you are one to apply more pressure when writing than others (such as myself). The eraser works great and erases cleanly and with ease. The colors, in my opinion, are fantastic! They are bright (but not neon bright) and vibrant. There are an array of colors fitting for any gender as well. I love that it comes with the extra pack of lead, which is not very common in most mechanical pencil packs. These will be a go-to for my kids when school starts!
