I bought this for my mother. She has difficulty holding books because of arthritis in her hands. This did the job but it keeps falling apart while she rests it on a pillow. Will be looking for something made out of metal. Not good for this particular purpose.

Staples Book Holder

I am a student at 60 years old attending Everett Community College. I bought the book holder to be able to have more room on my desk thus more room for my homework. The stand is OK and serves its purpose but it is not very sturdy and parts keep popping off. (the little parts that fold up to hold the book pages). They pop back in but it is a hassle.

Looks cheap feels cheap and it is cheap. I just got it an hour ago. I tried to use it but one of the small page markers on the bottom unscrewed already. It gets the job done but not very well. I'm definitely returning this one and ordering a different one online.

I use the holder when I am working with instructional manuals at my computer. It is secure and well balanced and does a nice job holding any size book I have mounted on to it. It's just what I needed.

"Looks great but lacks Sturdiness"

I'm helping a book publisher re-organize his business and need to re-type two entire books to format to a new publisher. This "book holder" needs to work well for me. I'm not too happy that it's plastic nor am I happy about the tabs at the bottom that hold the pages back. It might've been better if they were on the sides.
