It's okay.

The product doesn't support some paperback books that have a tendency to fold easily such as art books or magazines leaving the the top pages unstable. The black markers leave a smudge and given its tiny size it could create enough pressure to damage the paper. The quality of the plastic used on the product is fragile so it's important to handle with care. The product could use some improvement with larger markers and two more adjustable markers on the top that can scale the height and depth.

Just what I needed for proofreading!

I'm an editor/proofreader and this little item saves my neck--literally! The reading angle adjusts easily and the stand is amazingly portable--it's lightweight folds flat and fits into a standard ring binder. The downside of the portability is that it's made of light plastic that might not stand up to heavy books (and might not have a long life). I consider it a great find and a great value.
