not quite what I expected...

the product is effective for holding a book but if you need to adjust the paper clips. they fall off and you have to snap them back in. also the height adjuster comes apart when adjusting it at times. If you don't mind that then this product is for you.

Folds very thin and light. Takes up no space. Back support does not flop around when closed. Very portable. Yet supports full-size hardback books. And moderately priced.

convenient to have I use it for my ipad

I was glad to find that this little booklift was sturdier than I expected. The little shelf part at the bottom has 2 little clips that fold up so that pages can stay relatively in place but I set those guys down because I use the booklift for my iPad. It works so perfectly doesn't take up too much space and best of all doesn't move around when I am tapping on the iPad. I do not take the booklift around it stays at my office desk next to my desktop monitor. It looks and works great. I want another one for my home... He's a keeper!
