BookLift needs Lift

The book holder is convenient and works for lighter or smaller books. A heavy thick hard-back does not sit as well on it. Also it needs to tilt up one or two more notches. The highest tilt causes glare on the text.

This product is so lightweight and lots of pages can fit since it's main use is to hold a book. I love that I can use it for either loose papers or bound papers. Adjustable levels are convenient. Love this product!

HOLDER LACKS DESIGN

The clips at the bottom to hold the pages are too small. It should have the ability to hold thick books. I really don't like the way it was produced.
To be honest I wasn't expecting much from a cheap plastic holder I just wanted something to help hold my reference papers as I'm working from home. But this went way above my expectations! It is sturdy enough to hold my old Biochem textbooks from grad school and keeps the pages open without damaging the fragile pages. It's actually secure enough that I have used it as an angled support to hold my iPad when I annotate papers. I am so pleased that I can use it for both holding and for active writing. My only possible complaint is that it's a little tricky to collapse the back supports at some angles (but if this means that it won't collapse unexpectedly I'll take it).
