I purchased this book holder for a friend who had suffered a stroke and had difficulty holding a book and turning pages since his left hand does not work as needed. He is pleased with the book holder and it has enabled him to read books and work crossword puzzles. He has received compliments on the book holder from visitors.

"Looks great but lacks Sturdiness"

I'm helping a book publisher re-organize his business and need to re-type two entire books to format to a new publisher. This "book holder" needs to work well for me. I'm not too happy that it's plastic nor am I happy about the tabs at the bottom that hold the pages back. It might've been better if they were on the sides.
