This works great. I read hefty text books and it's held up great.

Rises to the occasion...

I just started working from home three days a week and spending 8 hours on a laptop has been tasking. I purchased this product looking for an alternative to a laptop riser. Other risers made specifically for laptops are available with expansive USB ports…but I found this to be a practical and thrifty find. Using the adjustable bookstand as a laptop riser allows the laptop LCD screen to be positioned directly at eye-level and relieves neck strain and greatly improves my posture. Pairing it with a USB or Wireless keyboard and mouse helps me be just as productive as if I were in the office on a traditional PC set-up.
Sturdy materials used. Can handle 4-in thick hardbound book. Different tilt settings help to maximize best angle you need for reading. Folds flat for portability. Also useful as a phone and tablet stand. Highly recommend this product!

Just the help I needed

As both a teacher and student I have much writing to do. Whether it's a paper or a calendar to turn in this holder certainly permits me to have a book magazine or planner right there for me to turn to and reference from. By holding it upright it is so much easier for me to read and then be able to type without interruption. Also it allows the flexibility of size ranging from a textbook to a journal to rest steadily in order for me to read. It does not take up too much space and is portable so that wherever I need to use a computer or iPad I can pack this easily away in my bag. A great asset to serve my needs.
I’m not sure. It was for my daughter. I’m not sure if she has used it yet or not.

Text Book (softcover) Holder

I find it a bit overpriced but it's very useful for reading and working on the pc doing home (University)work.Adjusting the back holder is not sturdy & needs to be adjusted by hand with force. Will not slip back into holder bracket with out much help. It holds a very large text book well and has not tipped over nor the pages flop around.
