Love it!

I have recently started back to school and my regular copy stand wasn't big enough to hold my textbooks open. The adjustability of this one is great! It also helps that this on folds up and even has 3 holes in it where you can put it in your binder and take it with you.
no more looking down at table: perfect for holding music charts as well as books--with your head straight up!

Excellent product ends frustration

I am a college student; therefore I read and write a lot and would get frustrated when I would paraphrase or quote from my textbook while trying to keep the book open. The BookLift Copy and Book Holder by Staples has ended my frustration. Now I use both hands to type my papers without the frustration of trying to keep the book open while I type. I would recommend this product to students and anyone wanting to keep their books opened for whatever reason.
Works just as I had hoped. I like the ability to determine the reading angle I want. The page holder tabs are also flexible so they can be moved to different positions depending on the thickness of the book (right now I'm reading a thick one!). I can easily fold up the device if I like it's durable and it's cheap. A winner for me.

too flimsy

Purpose is supposed to be holding open a book. As a grad student constantly copying sections of text can be hassle: this "booklift" holds the book upright but doesn't keep the pages from turning! The clips designed to do this broke on the very first day and not under duress. I have to use an oversized paperclip to hold the pages in place now! Overpriced for the quailty.
