Angle of lean perfect for eading at table. Folds down for easy storage on bookcase. Black color goes with any color scheme. Have seen other bookrests that are molded plastic with fixed design that cannot be folded down. which meansthey take up more space for storage.

I needed a stand to hold my 545 page medical assisting text book and documents while I am at my computer and this stand works perfect. I don't have to twist my head all around and prevents strain on my neck. The only issue is it slides because of the texture of my desk so I put a hand towel under it and the solved the problem. It's been over 3 months and still no issues

Originally bought to prop large heavy weight book on table for reference while typing. Uncertain if plastic holder would support it does and is adjustable! This makes reading material more pleasurable at long stretches and book takes up less space since it can be angled. I do use a rubbery mat beneath on glass tabletop and quartz kitchen countertop where invaluable when following recipes. So much easier than flat! Remarkable inexpensive limitless value.
