Our community bulletin boards are outdoors and enclosed white magnetic. These magnets are a great value but the colors need to be more muted and transparent with stronger magnets. For what you get this is a great value. Staples....please add a more business oriented selection of this product so the magnets don't draw attention away from the notices they hold.

Cheap and colorful

Fairly weak magnets especially the smaller size. Magnets are not always securely glued into their casing and can slip out. The colors are cheerful but quality control is low - my large white magnet came out of the package covered in black smudges. These magnets are easy to grab and move/remove making them good for active use. They can be used to create short-term designs display works temporarily or even to complete Lewis Dot Structures on the board. Because they have a weak holding power these are not recommended for long-term displays.

These magnets are great for my second graders! I use the medium magnets for lunch sign-ups the large ones for my discipline chart and the small ones for centers! They all get used and with a little rubbing alcohol to take my students' names off I can use them again and again and I have!

In my classroom I put each child's name on a magnet and as they come in they move it to choose their lunch choice. Works great. I can tell at a glance who is absent and which lunches to order. These magnets hold up better than others I have tried.
