Have been using a metal mesh tiered file holder for desktop. They are the best for me. Undecided on having this but purchased for portability and loved it came with hanging folders (complete!). Tops for portability and holds enough. Seems(?) sturdy enough don't want it too big to lug around anyway. 4 stars because I got spoiled with the tiered folder view.

I was looking for something small to just hold a few files that I can keep on my desk but store away when not using. This fits the bill! It's sturdy. It comes with hanging folders which are ok. I ended up using some pretty ones that I had but that's just my preference.
