We get several boxes of these pencils a year but this year we caught them on sale! I bought extras because the kids like to share them. I will note the grip really helps because if the kids have sweaty hands like one of mine they can slip on the bare one. They come with a decent amount of starter lead per pencil so you do not have to purchase lead when you buy them unless you just want to have it handy.
