Does the job well

I needed a decent amount of space for various files since I was getting rid of a wide 2 drawer lateral file cabinet. This vertical file cabinet holds everything from the lateral files and more. I put all the hanging folders I have in 3 drawers with room to spare. I also really like the adapters that hold regular manilla envelopes. I use those in the fourth drawer. All the drawers slide smoothly even loaded. It was easy to remove the cardboard box with a box cutter without scratching the cabinet. There was just enough packing to protect the cabinet without being excessive.

We just bought it so I can't speak to its durability. I don't like the file dividers -- the hanging wire kind. I find them difficult to use.

Very sturdy construction. Drawers pull easily even when heavily loaded. Drawer construction allows hanging files so you do not need that "cage" and no space at front so folders don't get caught and fall in up front. Delivery was very fast it and was in great condition!
