I still take Pitman steno. Preference is for wide ruled pages. This pad is larger than regular steno pad. The backing is relatively rigid in case there's no desk or table to rest on. However the pages themselves are strangely "mushy" and do not provide a firm base to write on. Also the extra large metal spiral means the pages move from side to side. The price was OK and was the only wide ruled pad in the store. However I will keep looking for true steno pads.

The TRU Red are not bad binders. Sizing is the same for me as the Accel construction quality is good. 2 Issues for me: 1) paper is very thin in the binder as a result the pages pull away very easy 2) the calendar pages nice feature should have more space in the boxes

This is a great compact notebook. It also came with sticky note flags enough I didn't recall being in the description--a nice surprise. I'm only knocking off one star because the perforated pages tear too easily even just turning the pages often.
