I only gave it 4 stars because while it's stackable; they do not have the ability to lock together. This makes it difficult to have things in the lower basket without moving the upper basket. Possibly a disaster. As for why you need a big basket I am a lawyer and we still use legal sized folders. This is perfect for that.

Great Desk Accessory

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stackable letter tray is perfect for my home desk. It allows me space to be organized and either put things in there that I need to review or use it as a nice tray to organize my desk supplies on. The stackable tray is great as a space saver and having a few more would allow me to have labeled files. The matte black tray matches with everything so it`s great to mix and match with a little color or whatever happens to be in the room. I have found the tray to be versatile as mentioned above. I am not sure this product is unique from other things available but I think this is a great sturdy and nice looking metal tray.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don`t know what this item is really supposed to be now having used it/toyed with it. I realize the potential is there for it to hold folders documents; but in an increasingly more paperless world and for my sensitive documents - I need something better.The one feature I like about it? It`s stackable. That`s actually huge for this hyper-organized person. And we`re back to the negative! For example what kind of documents need such a large container?! This item is not your average sheet of paper in size; it`s far too large and I need desk space. I imagine if you deal with non-standard size documents this may be your jam. But really that`s a unique case that needs all that space.I suppose if you have a `rotating daily or weekly` group of files you maintain this could be a nice solution for you. Understand though that there are many other more compact solutions out there. From my point of view: the best use I found for it was to elevate my laptop off the desk surface to free up space below it!
