I always had trouble not being able to fit what I needed into the sandwich bag sizes and not wanting to go and buy the gallon sizes so the XL bag works perfectly !

I have always been a big fan of the Ziplock sandwich bags mainly because of the quality. However, I've noticed that the plastic is much thinner and tears easily. I purchased some months back the store brand because they were out of Ziplock, I found that the plastic was thicker and did not tear at the seams easily. I may go to these in the future if Ziplock continues to cut back on the thickness.

Bags do not seal. They are essentially worthless. In an obvious attempt to control costs Johnson has remade the Ziploc and has lost the brand quality that made them worth the price. Now a waste of money and time.

The Ziploc - Sandwich XL Bags are perfect size for Oroweat's Bread. When I make lunches for my family - my kids, my husband, & I all use different breads for our sandwiches. I could always use Ziploc's Sandwich Bags for my kids' sandwiches but not for my husband's or mine. The bags just weren't big enough unless I wanted a smushed sandwich. I had to use a quart size bag. The quart size worked, but that wasn't my intended use for them. Now that Ziploc came out with the XL size it's perfect for wider loaf sizes. Finally, a sandwich bag that easily fits & holds wider loaf sliced bread!
