I sealed the green topped Ziploc like I normally would seal an old Ziploc, I could feel the zip.. Several days later the item in the bag was degraded. When I squeezed the bag it was not sealed. I learned that I had to repeatedly squeeze the bag to make sure it was sealed. This is being sold as an easy open Ziploc. The reason it is easy to open is because it fails to seal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I submitted this review as part of a free sample program. These bags answer a major problem that I've always had: the super slippery top. Now with Grip'nSeal, I can open the bag even after making a sandwich that may have wet lettuce or tomato in it. The bags have good strength so that I can make a slightly larger sandwich and stretch to close. Overall a great improvement over the old bags.

Elderly in-laws gave me the bags with new green tab because to hard to get open and closed. I don't know why you even make original sized sandwich bag anymore when the XL is the bag that actually fits a sandwich. I also am never able to find the XL anymore. Don't really need the 3 sizes with the snack bag and XL sandwich. Personally I feel ALL the bags should/need to be zippered bags.

Large Enough to Hold Our Favorite 6-Grain Bread
