I use to buy generic bags and well it is not worth it. Generic brands sizing is a bit off... smaller compared to Ziploc. Ziploc are easy to open, stay closed, and work greater in the freezer. We make our own bread for sandwiches and the size of the bread is bigger than store bought bread. these XL sandwich bags are perfect for making sandwiches with homemade bread. They hold up and the sandwich fits perfectly.
