Great pencil!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are great for keeping score for Domino's or card games. They are also great for note taking. They come presharpened and they write great. They glide smoothly over paper and even wood. I got some erasers to use with them and the marks erase pretty well. The quality of these pens are excellent, very well made.

Great for kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dixon golf pencils are perfect for little kids. Since kids have smaller hands the 3.5 yellow hex presharpened pencils are just right for them. Since kids tend to press down harder when they write its often they have to sharpen their pencils. But the Dixon Ticonderoga golf pencils are strong and durabile. Im a teacher for 2nd graders and these are my go to pencils everytime.

Very handy for everyday life.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this box of 144 count Dixon Golf Pencils for my husband and myself. They come pre-shrapened so you don't have to worry about sharpening them. At our age, (50 and 62)- we frequently find the need to write something down. They are 3.5 inches long with no eraser. Made of sustained yeild wood and bright yellow, they have a #2 lead that resists breaking, so you can keep these little beauties in your pocket with no fear of the point breaking. While they say they are Golf pencils, these little guys have so many more uses: We use them to mark wood in my husbands shop to cut to exact size, we use them in the truck to write down notes or lists to take to the store, we use them to purchase our lottery tickets (because the pencils they have in the stores are always gone or have no point), and many more uses. They will fit perfectly in a pocket, a console, your purse, the kitchen window. If the point wears down, just toss it and get a new one, or you can use a manual pencil sharperner to sharpen the pencil.

No Longer Out of Pencils

I love pre sharpened pencils because there is never a pencil sharpener around when I need it as well.
