Too often these paper clips cut into the papers as one is trying to slip the clip on.

What a disappointment. I purchased a bulk pack (1000 clips). The overall quality of the clip seems weak but besides that many have the side piece sprung open making them unusable and many are linked together requiring me to spend time separating them. Now what I expected from Staples produce. I would NOT recommend them and would NOT purchase again. In fact I am now stuck with a lot of clips that I don't find very useful.
