Great colors, but they STAIN

We LOVE these colors—vivid for the best sidewalk pictures, so it pains me to say these colors stain! The red and black got us good and we have to replace the pieces of clothing. So beware! Wear something you don’t care about ruining (or don’t get it on you, but with a two & three year, that wasn’t happening for us!)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Crayola Washable Sidewalk Chalk and Washable Sidewalk Crayons are designed to wash from concrete and asphalt sidewalks and driveways. As stated on product packaging, this product may stain other materials.
However, we’d like to help by sharing a cleaning tip suggested by our Research & Development team. Place stained area on paper towels and blot with alcohol. Wash in hot water with laundry detergent and Clorox 2 or OxiClean powder and rinse in warm water. Repeat as necessary until all the stain is removed. Beware! These are more like pastels.

This is overall a nice product - 48 chalks that work well, BUT they are more like pastels, not bright, primary colors! The pictures on the box do not truly match the colors inside. I mean this is a company that is all about COLOR! Just be more accurate in the descriptions on the outside of the box! I was very surprised when I opened up the box! The colors are nice but beware - there is no true red, green, blue or purple! I have photos.
