Good luck getting one of these that is not smashed dented and destroyed. I ordered one and it was very badly dented. Went to the store to return it--they could not figure out how to refund my money (and I had used some coupons) so I ordered another to be delivered to the store. I figured I could check to see if it was damaged before taking it home that way. Went back to the store to pick it up and sure enough the second one was also damaged so I returned it right there. I went to another Staples a few days later since the item appeared to be in stock there online. Asked a store clerk if they indeed had it in stock. She reported that the only one they had was badly damaged. She then shared the fact that most of them end up damaged. When she asked me if I wanted to order one I obviously declined. I ended up going to a competitor and buying one they had in stock at the store. I think if they spent a little money packing these better they would save everyone a lot of time and money.

Fell off the truck

This is a great little file cabinet. I have purchased 2 previously. However when I took this one out of the box it was clear that it had been dropped as one of the back corners was crushed and the back had a large bulge. I didn't have the time to send back or exchange so I took a hammer to the protruding metal to smooth it out. Fortunately it is on the back corner so it is not visible. Please inspect thoroughly as the delivery people are NOT careful with the items they deliver.

Bought this at discount/ sales price wise is really great value in comparison the similar cabinet for this size 26" depth and good-sturdy construction!

We wanted to replace our old scarred cabinet but wanted one as large and sturdy. This is perfect. It is very sturdy has loads of room and a built in rail for hanging folders. We are very happy with it!
