Before purchasing I checked out a lot of web sites for file cabinets. Prices for good ones were outrageous. I was very lucky to literally stumble into Staples will brick and mortar shopping and found this item. I had a leprechaun on my shoulder that day. Just what I was looking for at a price that was perfect. Good quality at a fair cost. I just wish it came in charcoal as well as black and putty.

Sturdy file cabinet

I looked at other brand name 2 drawer file cabinets in store and they were either not deep enough had flimsy drawers or did not have ball bearing slides. This one had everything I was looking for. Staples 2 biz day shipping was nice. The item was lighter than I thought it would be so it was easy for me to lift out of the box and place in my office.

Very Sturdy; like a HON cabinet

Is currently holding a years worth of graduate work in the bottom drawer and will hold my complete second years worth of work in the top drawer. I may need to buy a 4 drawer later on to fit my 3rd and 4th years work though. It is a great file cabinet.
