Though the first one arrived dented and the second was a totally different file cabinet the third was THE ONE! It was exactly what I ordered and arrived in perfect shape. It is of excellent quality and fits perfectly in my office. PS. Your Customer Care person and the UPS delivery person we’re both extremely pleasant and helpful in coordinating the returns and reorders.

It is worth the money to invest in this basic file cabinet. I bought the cheap model first and it was horrible. This cabinet has good slides and the drawers function well when full. I did however build a base to raise it off the floor for more convenient access.

Adequate for occasional use

I bought this file cabinet for long term storage and not so much every day use. I was concerned after reading reviews about how these units are not very sturdy and arrived damaged. My unit arrived without any damage. It is not a sturdy unit but should be adequate for my purpose. The drawers work smoothly but again are not high end. The locking mechanism is smooth and appears reliable.

The cabinet is fairly sturdy. The drawer opens and closes like a high end cabinet and although the lock is not especially smooth it does lock and will hopefully loosen up. Biggest problem as noted by other reviewers is that it came with a couple of good size dents in the side. I would have returned it but needed a locking cabinet this week so I decided to live with it.
