We bought this to replace one that was damaged and oh my goodness this is awesome. So smooth and quiet. Has the nice high sides and for a pretty good price!

I order this thinking the quality would be pretty good given the general reviews. The product arrived with a dented corner outer package and the cabinet had a dent. So after some effort taking it out of the box and then putting it back in I had to return it to my local store But I did inspect the drawers to see how they opened and closed and was disappointed. The drawer gliders worked ok but not as smooth as my old file cabinet and the latching mechanism was somewhat defective since it took a lot of fiddling to get one of the drawers open. Because of this I did not want to order another one as a replacement even though perhaps this was not representative of the typical cabinet. I will look elsewhere. It is just too much effort to order again when on sale and then unpack it etc. I don't know why Staples does not carry this in their store. Would be easier to inspect and then buy.
