Being a retired personal organizer I know what works when it comes to file cabinets. You want it deep (26.5") with thumb latches. Do not bother to buy anything less. The less deep ones fall forward when the drawer is opened. With any file cabinet fill the bottom drawer first.

I had done no research about any filing cabinet before I bought this. My wife and I had purchased a house and I needed a filing cabinet for my office. This filing cabinet is very sturdy and holds lots of file folders.

Luckily I have found many items at Staples that I needed since I moved. I down sized apartment wise and you can't beat the prices. I have been lucky enough to get my items on sale which makes it even nicer.
