Quite disappointed-there was no indication externally of any damage to the item as the cardboard box was intact. The drawers slide easily and this file cabinet is just perfect for my needs. HOWEVER the front of the top drawer is distorted. Somebody messed up(not me). My heart is broken but I need this file cabinet now so I’m trapped and just don’t want to go through the hassle of returning in. The distortion of the front of the top drawer does mildly impede the travel of that file drawer but as I noted above I’m trapped so even though it is pricey what can one do. We live in an imperfect society and this is just one more indication of that fact.

High quality two-drawer file cabinet

This cabinet has more quality than the ones I have bought in the past. There are places to put a paper label on the front of the drawer and a thumb button to move to open the drawer. The metal is a heavier duty metal than other one's I have had.
